You will learn the basics of Land freight and Customs as well as gaining knowledge of our systems and processes through a blended learning approach, you’ll be trained by our subject matter experts, helping support your career development.

Customs Clearance Operators are required to complete and input via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, customs entries for cargo arriving and leaving through UK ports, for both external and internal customers. This includes all aspects of Import & Export customs procedures and regulations.

  • Operational - ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately, in a correct manner and presented within the expected time frames as designated by HMRC regulations, raising any potential declarations issues to your immediate supervisor.
