About The Role

Kanishka Kitchen are seeking an energetic and reliable Line Chef to join its team in Heathrow Terminal 5. The purpose of this role is to provide friendly and efficient food and beverage services that meet guests’ expectations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensure excellent and professional service at all times.
  • Prepare and cook food to spec as orders arrive.
  • Check food quality before collection from kitchen.
  • Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
  • Replenish stock as required.
  • Other duties as required and outlined by the manager and supervisor.
  • Ensuring food waste is kept to a minimum.
  • Using Department Procedure Manuals as a base for all service procedures training
  • To ensure that the food department’s revenue and profit targets are met
  • To adhere to company H&S Policies and maintain general cleanliness of the Kitchen
  • To develop the skills of the brigade and help develop people to deliver excellent service to all customers.
About You

The ideal Line Chef will have:

  • 1 year experience working in a quality, busy hospitality environment
  • Great team-work skills
  • A fun and engaging personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good level of English
