About The Role

Kuehne Nagel are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Customer Care Apprentice to join their team. The purpose of this role is to deal with all customer enquires in the best and most efficient way to satisfy their expectations. This role will give you the opportunity to build relationships with customers as well as learn the airfreight industry and ensure you gain a full understanding of Freight Forwarding.

As Customer Care Apprentice your key responsibilities include:

  • Build close, strong relationships with all our customers, Kuehne Nagel offices, overseas agents and service providers
  • Manage and be responsible for your own operational accounts
  • Actively plan and co-ordinate your working day taking ownership of the business you manage
  • Assist and advise customers regarding airfreight / clearances and delivery of their goods
  • Be pro-active in your response to service issues
About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be interested in International Freight Forwarder industry and will be seeking career in the industry. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Five GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above are desirable
  • Ability to work on you own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Punctuality

  • Be driven to achieve personal success
