About The Role

Leon are seeking a supportive and reliable Assistant Manager to join their teamThe Assistant Manager assists the Hospitality Manager/Store Manager in the efficient and profitable operation of a Company unit. The Assistant Manager also ensures that the unit/store and Company standards are met at all times.

As an Assistant Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring guests and colleagues are treated with professionalism at all times. Polite, courteous and friendly behaviour must be demonstrated towards both at all times
  • Ensuring that the business is effectively managed and staffed at all times to deliver efficient guest service and a profitable operation
  • Optimising profitability through increased sales and controlled margins, whilst maintaining Company standards
  • Fulfilling all administrative tasks and duties in the most effective and professional manner in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Monitoring maintenance of premises and equipment on a regular basis, and report recommended action to the Store Manager
About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have good attention to detail. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Leadership skills
  • Proposes ideas, plans and working methods to strengthen mutual cooperation
  • Provides direction when confronted with challenges or when objectives are in danger of not being met
  • Translates strategy and company objectives into workable procedures
