About The Role

Diamond Air are seeking an experienced and committed Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team. The Accounts Receivable Assistant’s primary responsibility will be to ensure timely cash collection and maintaining a clean and concise Debtor ledger. As well as, Reporting of Aged Debt. Well-rounded aptitude for bookkeeping will ensure they are a valued member of the team as they will provide back-up to the Accounts Payable team and other adhoc duties as required from time to time.

As an Accounts Receivable Assistant your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to the Accounts Payable team, Month End tasks and assisting with ongoing projects
  • Reconciling and managing the payment gateways, including chargebacks
  • Carrying out Client Commission management
  • Ensuring cash collection, including credit card payments
  • Reporting on Aged Debt and shortening collection cycles
About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 year’s Accounts Receivable experience. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • High level understanding of payment methods, debtor control accounts and reconciliation processes
  • Strong IT skills – experienced with Accounting software, Excel (a minimum of Intermediate level is essential), Word, Outlook, SharePoint
  • An enthusiastic, can-do approach and be a strong team player
  • The ability to work well unsupervised and use initiative
  • The ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritise effectively
