About The Role

Amalga are seeking an experienced and motivated logistics administrator to join their growing organisation. Amalga have an exciting opportunity at their Head Office Operations team, for an assistant to work alongside their existing team who are responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of their first-class Total Airside Project Support service.

The role involves a shift pattern from 11am – 7:30pm.

As a Logistics Administrator your key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding Amalga’s client needs and arranging quotes for small airport logistics works
  • Managing the Warehouse facility and the offloading/loading of vehicles
  • Assisting the Operations Team in planning nightly works
  • Booking labour, plant, material, vehicles and skips
  • Competently utilising operating systems and processes, ensuring that all projects and contracts are processed correctly, including staff allocation/leave, using Cargowise and Microsoft packages
About You

The ideal candidate forthis role will have experience within Logistics and Construction. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to at least A Level standard, including GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, Databases
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills, Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Ability to deliver quality tasks and work to tight timescales and conflicting deadlines
  • Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Forklift experience
  • Experience in Logistics and Warehousing, road transport and procedures is desirable
